PELUM-RDC works on capacity building for member organisations and community-based organisations, peasant seeds and food security, action research on innovative agricultural techniques, agroecological entrepreneurship, innovative practices, agroecological policy advocacy and networking / institutional development.

PRDI
The PRDI component strengthens organisational, human and material capacities and promotes collaboration across the network.
The Networking and Institutional Development Programme (PRDI) aims to strengthen organisational systems, management, monitoring and evaluation, staff capacity, knowledge exchange and collaboration among member organisations. It also reinforces links with neighbouring PELUM countries and other national, regional and international networks working on agroecology.
In practice, PRDI combines governance strengthening, institutional learning, systems development, partnerships and shared action toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
