The Story of PELUM-RDC

From idea to chapter, from registration to continental membership.

The idea of creating a PELUM Association chapter in the Democratic Republic of Congo arose from consultations held in two eastern provinces of the DRC, where 31 civil society organizations supported the idea of creating a PELUM chapter and requested affiliation with PELUM Association.

Ten non-governmental organizations signed the Constitution of PELUM RDC during the Constituent General Assembly on October 19, 2019 and officially created the chapter in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
